Fourth Annual Ice Breaker at Twin Lakes
Friends of the Twin Lakes Trail invite area residents and their families to help “break the ice” on a new season at Twin Lakes. The fourth annual Ice Breaker will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Twin Lakes and area businesses.
It will be held on Sunday April 26th at the Twin Lakes Christian Center in Harvest Hall, on the west side of Twin Lakes.
A buffet lunch will begin at noon, exhibits are open from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Suggested donations for the brunch are $7 per adult, $4 for ages 5-12, and children 4 & under are free.
Various businesses and organizations will have manned booths where visitors can learn more about the Twin Lakes Trail; area reunion, camping and event facilities; boats; docks; area eateries and a number of other goods and services available in our area.
Plans will be revealed of a proposed museum to be constructed along the lakeshore featuring Indian Artifacts. Tours of Twin Lakes Christian Center will be offered.
A drawing will be held for five $20 Twin Lakes Bucks. These can be redeemed at any of the four Twin Lakes storefront businesses: Twin Lakes Christian Center, Twin Lakes Marina, Twin Lakes Grocery & Grill, or Augie’s. Some of the exhibitors will be offering additional door prizes.
Area residents are invited to stop in and help “break the ice”!
