The Twin Lakes Restoration Foundation was organized several years ago as a separate organization from the Twin Lakes Restoration Association, but with the common goal of the preservation and continuation of the Twin Lakes traditions. The foundation is organized as a tax-exempt organization under the provisions of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation can accept donations from individuals, businesses or estates. Funds that are received have been used to acquire the land now known as Gutz Park on the West side of the lake. The foundation has also been instrumental in the construction of the bike path around North Twin Lakes. Most of the money received so far by the foundation has been identified for either of those specific purposes. The foundation is able to accept funds, stocks or the equivalent as an endowment, the interest of which will be used for the general tax-exempt purpose of the foundation and the principal will remain in tact.

The board members of the Foundation are Don Schnurr-President, Gary Dudley-Vice President and Carroll Darling-Secretary and Treasurer. Please feel free to contact any one of the board members with questions or information about including the Twin Lakes Restoration Foundation in your charitable planning goals.
